yeah - we only noticed that today. I've written a fix and I'm
getting someone else to take a look before we make it public.
As far as the issue with the custom filters, can you send me a
link to the discussion on AdBlock's support site? If it's public, I
might be able to work out what the problem through what you said

Okay. Currently, CatBlock will only replace certain ads online
with pictures of cats (or something else from Flickr if you don't
like the default cats). This should have no effect on how those
filters are processed.
What you could do is to make a flickr photoset for the images
you want to use and import that into CatBlock at CatBlock button
-> Options -> CatBlock.
Is the issue that the pages are getting blocked normally, or
that the pages are actually loading?

Here's an answer to your question:
CatBlock cannot replace ads, which were hidden by custom filter
(yet) as in this case.
We'd like to improve algorithms of CatBlock, therefore we will
likely implement this feature in later versions of CatBlock.
