No ads, but also: No cats

I've been attempting to use CatBlock for about two or three days now, on and off over the course of about 9 hours a day. Ads do indeed seem to be blocked, but I'm also not seeing any cats, as the extension claims should show.

 - I have confirmed the checkbox is checked in options to "Replace ads with pictures of cats"
 - Firefox is version 54.0 (64-bit)
 - CatBlock is Version 1.4.9, and the support page page claims "up-to-date." Address URL is moz-extension://e4ed54d1-0ed4-461e-bef6-307db059be27/options/index.html

    Hi Rilo,

This is strange. I am actually using Firefox right now and have been seeing cats.

Can you please go to https://www.reddit.com/ and let me know if you see any cats on the right sidebar?

    Thanks,
    Kieran

No... still no cats there either. :(
Screenshot attached. Make sure I'm not going blind.

Can you open the Options page and go to the CatBlock tab, and let me know which image lists are enabled?

Hey.... it works on my home comput-- oh.... Okay.
I forgot this is Firefox Portable. That's probably why it works on my home installation; I suspect the code doesn't compensate for a portable profile path or something.

Is that a good theory? Can I submit it as a feature request if it is?

In response to your post; there's no checkboxes in Firefox Portable even showing up, but on the home install there are two checked, "The Cats of CatBlock Users" and "April Fools Cats." Again, the home install works; so more evidence to it being a Portable issue, imo.

    Hi again,

Thanks for poining out that this is on Firefox, Portable Edition. I can verify that this is an issue.

For now, try going to the Flickr input box on that page and using this ID number: 72157629665759768. This will enable some of the cats we have on by default.

I'll pass this on to someone who knows more than me. It could be an issue with Firefox Portable, or with CatBlock, so I'm not sure.

Thanks, and we'll keep in touch with any developments that may be made.
